Air 7 CMA

Camarillo, CA

JRMA provided architectural design, structural engineering, and consultant coordination for Air 7, formerly Avant Air, to create a new aviation facility complete with two hangars on either side of a two-story fixed-based operation (FBO). A pre-engineered metal building system was used for the hangars while a conventional PEMB/Conventional hybrid system was used for the two-story FBO.  This solution provided a single-source structural design with the PEMB vendor and simplified the process for the general contractor.  The metallic panel exterior and tinted window glazing offer a streamlined aviation aesthetic, while inside the shop, storage and employee areas and office space provide customers everything they need for corporate jet storage and maintenance.
