Bonseph Long Beach

Bonseph Long Beach is an innovative aviation campus development, located at Long Beach Airport and one of the first general aviation facilities within the City of Long Beach Globemaster Corridor Specific Plan.  The project comprises of a variety of hangar, hospitality, office, and shop spaces. JRMA, along with team member Aeroplex Group, have designed the project in such a way as to provide future flexibility for a variety of potential tenants and to best serve the aviation community at Long Beach Airport. The project consists of one 31,500 SF, 225’ foot clear span hangar with 30’ tall full floating hangar doors, a 9,960 SF attached Office/Shop Building with hospitality features such as a lobby and conference room, and five 80’x80’ Box Hangars with bifold doors. The project will also provide ample landside parking areas equipped with EV charging stations and infrastructure to accommodate future demand. On the airside, 60,000 SF of new concrete ramp paving will be installed in addition to infrastructure for future EVTOL. Similar to many of JRMA’s projects, Bonseph Long Beach, in addition to achieving our client’s goals, puts sustainability at the forefront of design. The project is elevated above the code required CALGreen and is seeking a LEED Silver Certification through the incorporation of energy modeling, rooftop PV installation to offset project energy demands, EV charging stations, sustainable material selections, and more.
