JRMA Awarded Transfer Station Master Planning Services Contract by North Pointe SWSSD

Portland, OR (October 25, 2021) — JRMA (J. R. Miller & Associates, Inc.), a leading architectural and engineering firm specializing in the design of solid waste and recycling facilities, including transfer stations, materials recovery facilities (MRFs), and anaerobic digestion/biogas plants (AD), is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a contract for Transfer Station Master Planning Services for North Pointe Solid Waste Special Services District (North Pointe SWSSD) in Lindon, Utah.

JRMA will help North Pointe SWSSD evaluate options for future short and long term waste handling for its member cities and other customers. JRMA will complete a facility condition and operational assessment of the capacity of the existing transfer station site, feasible options to increase the throughput at the existing transfer station site, and an evaluation of new transfer station(s) to serve commercial or residential waste, including self-haul waste, or both in different location(s) within the service area. JRMA has partnered with Forsgren Associates and Bell & Associates to provide all the needed resources to complete this project.
