Newport Beach Corporation Yard Fueling Support Facilities & Transfer Station Improvements Project
Brea, CA (March 23, 2023) JRMA, a leading architectural, engineering, and planning firm specializing in the design of solid waste facilities including transfer stations, materials recovery facilities (MRFs), and anaerobic digestion/biogas plants (AD), is pleased to announce they are collaborating with TAIT & Associates for a Newport Beach corporation yard and transfer station improvement project.
The project team will provide structural engineering and solid waste facility design advisory support services for the City. The project scope will include the following types of activities: fieldwork to assess the condition of the site with design solutions for modification to the existing refuse transfer station, the addition of a truck weigh scale, removal of the existing unleaded gasoline storage tank, modifications to the existing fueling system pump islands, incorporation of CNG slow-fill and fast-fill capabilities, improvements to existing wash bay, replacement of the restroom facility, and the relocation of the fleet vehicle parking area. The corporation yard transfer station’s operations will continue uninterrupted throughout the project.
