Atlantic Aviation LAS

This four-phase project impacted nearly every operational aspect of Atlantic Aviation’s operations at McCarran International Airport. As the busiest FBO in its network, it was imperative that its current operations be maintained during the entire renovation and expansion. The project included a complete renovation of the existing FBO, and a new 200-foot clear-span concrete tilt-up hangar, charter terminal and GSE building.  Each of the phases was sequenced and delivered to optimize the efficiency of the operation and to allow for focus on the challenging final phase FBO renovation. Completion of a high-end charter terminal that will serve as Atlantic’s home during the FBO renovation was key to the project sequence. The charter terminal will then be converted to a JetSuiteX based upon Atlantic’s re-occupancy of the renovated FBO. 

As an architectural award-winning facility back in 2000, the existing FBO was in need of a new vision in keeping with the contemporary design trends of the recent developments on the Las Vegas Strip. A perfect balance of modern and elegant design was used throughout the FBO public areas, while a complete renovation and expansion of the back-of-house and administrative areas provided the support required for the busy and growing operations of the 32,000 SF FBO. Key features of the FBO include a custom aviation-inspired stone compass rose at the airside entry and the multi-panel “Timeline of Las Vegas,” created specifically for the project.
