Criminal Justice Law Building Design Plan

JRMA provided design services for a proposed Criminal Justice Law Building in Indio for the County of Riverside. The new facility was to replace a much older building that no longer suited the needs of the district attorney and public defenders. JRMA’s design featured a three-story office building with modern accents in a campus style setting. A law library, café, and secure sally-port entrance/exit for defendants and law enforcement officers are included in the office building, with a three-story parking garage and a pad for a future restaurant adjacent to fill out the site. Building and window overhangs improve energy conservation in this desert setting, offering shade and reflecting the architecture of the great Southwest.
