JRMA provided architectural and structural design services to enlarge and modernize the employee support spaces which included the break room, locker rooms, restrooms, and exterior lunch shelter. A portion of the existing first floor office area was demolished and repurposed as the new expanded break room and restrooms. The existing structural elements were either removed or reconfigured to provide a large open plan concept. The updated break room provided ample seating for over 80 employees, which represented its largest shift. An under-utilized exterior space was cleared and slated for the construction of a new locker room and restroom facility. The 2,500 SF building expansion provided over 100 lockers for women and over 400 lockers for men. It also served as the new primary entrance for employees to access the changing area and lockers. JRMA proposed to remove the existing lunch canopy and replace it with a new metal canopy structure that was three times larger.

The GSF Breakroom project was completed in 2018. Work on the locker rooms and lunch shelter was expected to start in 2019 but has been put on hold by the client.
