McKinney National Airport CBP Facility
McKinney, TexasAs part of the multi-site development at McKinney National Airport, JRMA teamed with Griffin/Swinerton and Garver Engineering as part of a private-public partnership for a new Customs and Border Protection Facility. The project is designed to process general aviation aircraft and integrates many of the functionality and security requirements of larger facilities. Through a collaborative design process with all stakeholders, the entire building area was able to be reduced to under 3,200 SF without an impact on operations. The facility also includes a dedicated AOA vehicle access, secure utility and trash enclosures, and ramp area to accommodate a Bombardier Global 7500. The exterior design of architectural metal panels, ACM, and storefront complement the future development at the Airport.
