As a division of Sumitomo Group, Sumiden Wire Product’s investment in its customers and commitment to providing high-quality products resulted in the construction of a 49,000 square foot plant to manufacture its PC strand wire in California made specifically for suspension bridge cable. The plant includes pickling, drawing, stranding, and spooling machines. JRMA’s design, provided to design-builder James N. Gray Company, also included a cooling tower and waste process area.
