Westside General Aviation Campus BGA

JRMA provided master planning and engineering for Blue Grass Airport’s multi-building general aviation campus in Lexington. In order to align the complex with the rest of the airport and surrounding community, the exterior and interior design match the nearby Keeneland Race Track and historic horse farms with an equestrian-themed architecture. The project’s first phase introduced two 18,000 SF Hangar Groups, concrete aprons, parking, and an operational infrastructure to the airport.The second phase of the project included a 10,330 SF Box Hangar Group and a 12,550 SF Community Hangar with an attached 3,310 SF limited service FBO.
