Jay's Air Center
Santa Ana, CAJay's Air Center (JAC) is a complete renovation of its existing operations at John Wayne Orange County Airport (SNA). The project is part of the overall general aviation restructuring at SNA. It will include a limited service FBO, hangars and a maintenance facility, and is being carefully coordinated with the construction and phasing of the other two FBO’s on the airfield. The JAC project is unique in that it serves nearly all facets of the smaller general aviation operations at an airport. The facility is designed to service aircraft with a MTOW of 12,500 pounds or less and is customized to this classification. The facility includes a variety of building types, ranging from T-hangars, box hangars, a limited service FBO and a large 200’ clear-span hangar. The project also includes tie-down areas for multiple aircraft types, and wash and self-serve fuel areas. It will be internally phased so that no on-site tenants are displaced during construction.
- Complete aviation campus for smaller general aviation aircraft within the context of a larger tier commercial airport.
- Careful project phasing to ensure no tenants were displaced during the construction and renovation process.
